The Boardwalk Collaboration Platform (BCP) is a business process automation platform which utilizes a patented positional data management technology to enable applications which fill the gap between the desktop and the enterprise. 

Unlike other enterprise solutions that support collaboration at the file or record-object level and use check-in/check-out or record locking concurrency control, the Boardwalk Collaboration Platform enables concurrent, multi-user collaboration at the cell level from within a set of rows & columns of positional data managed within a spreadsheet or browser.

Utilizing a patented positional data management technology running on top of a standard relational database deployed securely in the cloud or behind your firewall, BCP enables a secure, two-way exchange of data between multiple users working on the desktop which is as easy to use as email. Users can work in isolation on their access controlled view of the data and, when ready, cell-level changes are shared with the click of a button. BCP also supports two-way integration with backend systems which means companies can finally bridge the gap between the desktop and the enterprise.
